Peter Steele, 1870-1946

• Born in Victoria, B.C.
• He inherited STEELE’s Saloon on 4 Bastion Square in Victoria for many  years. It was established by his father, Peter STEELE who originally started in the saloon business in Victoria in 1869. 
• Lived at 1014 Catherine Street
• Buried in the Steele family plot at Ross Bay Cemetery. 
• Loyalist Ancestors: Henry Johann Loyst, 1763-1836 & & William Shewman, 1728-1806.  All from Fredericksburg.
