Loyal-List of UE Loyalists and Descendants

The website has been created to document and consolidate information about United Empire Loyalists (UEL) and their descendants. Many Loyalists and their families have been identified in sources such as the Dictionary of Canadian Biography, Wikipedia, historical books, archives, and specialized websites—including connections as varied as political leaders, pioneers, and even members of the Hockey Hall of Fame. To access the profiles of over 200 Loyalists and over 800 UEL Descendents, open the Menu in the upper right corner above.

The goal is to bring these scattered references together in one accessible place, making it easier for researchers, family historians, and the general public to explore the stories and legacies of the Loyalists and their descendants. By centralizing this information, the site aims to:

Celebrate heritage by recognizing the ongoing influence of Loyalist families in Canada and beyond.

Preserve history by recording names, profiles, and connections.

Provide context by linking individuals to broader historical events and communities.

Encourage collaboration by inviting contributions, corrections, or new profiles from visitors and researchers.
