Walter Armstrong, 1888-1958
- Born in Poplar Point, Manitoba.
- In 1911 census, living with parents in Vancouver, working for CPR as telegraph operator.
- Moved to Vancouver Island in 1912 and worked for CPR as a railway agent in Duncan, Nanaimo, Parksville and Ladysmith until he retired i 1948.
- Had been living the previous 10 years at Station Road in Coombs.
- Buried in St. Anne’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Parksville, British Columbia.
