- Paul Peterson was born in June 24, 1790 in Adolphustown, Upper Canada and died on 15 July 1856 in Belleville, Ontario. He was the son of Nicholas Peterson and Mary Hazlett. His hather Nicholas and grandfather were Associated Loyalists and Bergen Block House survivors in New Jersey skirmish. Married to Sarah Merrill. The family were Methodists. Farmer. MHA for Prince Edward County, Reformer.
