  • Born in Little Bras d’Or, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
  • Moved from Halifax to Edmonton in 1907. In 1911 census for Edmonton, 57 years, married, two children at home, occupation was Post Office clerk.
  • In the 1921 Census, 67 years, living at West Edmonton, bookkeeper with the Provincial Government. husband is shipwright. Moved to Victoria in 1923. 
  • No picture of grave – Block: T Plot: 51 W 39. Wife is buried in Halifax in 1939. 
  • Loyalist Ancestor: Bartholomew Musgrave, 1757-1837 and Peter William Sparling, 1732-1821.
