Born in Little Bras d’Or, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
Moved from Halifax to Edmonton in 1907. In 1911 census for Edmonton, 57 years, married, two children at home, occupation was Post Office clerk.
In the 1921 Census, 67 years, living at West Edmonton, bookkeeper with the Provincial Government. husband is shipwright. Moved to Victoria in 1923.
No picture of grave – Block: T Plot: 51 W 39. Wife is buried in Halifax in 1939.
Loyalist Ancestor: Bartholomew Musgrave, 1757-1837 and Peter William Sparling, 1732-1821.
