Sarah Sophie (nee Loyst) Steele, 1851-1923

• Sarah was born in 1851 in Fredericksburg, Canada West (Ontario).  
• With husband Peter, owned Steele’s Saloon in Bastion Square. Very popular with businessmen.
• Buried at Ross Bay Cemetery.
• Loyalist Ancestors: Nicholas Peterson, 1717-1795 & Abraham Peterson, 1741-1823.
