- Buried in Royal Oak Cemetery. Mother is Buried at Royal Oak. Mother Agnes Stackhouse is the UE connection. Sister Mary Agnes is at Royal Oak. Sister Fannie Louise published a book called the Enchanted Island – A Fairy Tale in 1919. Died in 1922. Brother Frank James Ap’John was killed in WW I and is buried in the Croury British Cemetery, Croury-Sur-Somme, Somme, France.
- Was the Treasurer in 1938 and genealogist in 1941 for Victoria UELAC.
- UE Loyalist Ancestor: Robert Stackhouse and his brother, Joseph, joined the 1st New Jersey Volunteers, where Robert served as a sergeant in Captain Hutchinson’s company. Robert was discharged on 10 October 1783 after six years and five months of service. On 11 August 1784 he was granted land (blocks 97 and 98) in Carleton , N.B.
