Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
In the 1911 census, they lived in Nelson, four children, husband was an accountant, husband died in 1914. Moved to Victoria.
Her son Lieut.-Col. Cyril Gainsborough Beeston was an active soldier and seaman during WW I. After WW I , had a law practice in Vancouver and was given responsibility for the defense of the Vancouver area during WW II.
