• Born in Shefford, La Haute-Yamaska, Quebec.
• In the 1881 census, 23 years, living with parents, farmer. Still living at home in Quebec. 
• Death certificate by Dr. Helmcken, death due to typhoid fever, age 30 (was 26).  
• Loyalist Ancestor: Simon Griggs, 1777 – 1843. In Directory but not proven.
