Joseph Alexander Keefer, 1886-1926

• Born in Victoria, B.C.
• Served from 1914-1918 in WW I.  Keefer commanded the A company in France during 1916 and was promoted 2nd in command of the battalion in 1917. Keefer was one of the 2 officers to be 1st in the battalion to win a Military Cross,
