• In the 1891 census, 64 years, married to second wife, 10 children with two from first wife and eight from second wife, living in Yates Street ward, Victoria, occupation was carpenter. 
• In 1901, eight children at home, occupation was bridge carpenter. 
• No picture of grave – Block: B Plot: 65b66 W 37
• Loyalist Ancestor: William Harper 1759-1850, NB, on UEL list but unproven.
