• Husband Henry died in 1918. Was  owner of H. Rees Meat Market. Lived at 1527 Camosun St. Moved to Victoria in 1912. 
• In the 1921 census, 67 years, widowed, living at 1275 Balmoral Rd, Victoria, B.C. with daughter and her family. 
• Also buried with daughter Mercy Johanna “Josie” Rees Cook
• Loyalist Ancestor: David Gilbert Purdy, 1721-1778,  Died in New York during Revolution.
