  • Born in Hamilton, Hamilton, Ontario.
  • In the 1921 census, married, 57 years, living at home (943 St. Charles Street) with wife and two children, occupation was  Superintendent, Esquimalt & Nanaimo Railway. Lived at 1004 Pemberton when he passed in 1943. 
  • Arrived in B.C. in 1886.

  • Loyalist Ancestor: David Springer 1733-177 & Richard Beasley 1761-1842, David and his wife Margarita Oliver during colonial times lived in Wilmington, Delaware then in Stillwater, New York and was killed by the Patriots during the American Revolution. Sons Richard and Daniel Springer went to Fort Niagara and served in Butler’s Rangers.
