UE Loyalist Ancestor : Peter Johann Zimmerman did not fight in the Revolutionary war and therefore was not a United Empire Loyalist, but his brother Mattias (proven) was and made the journey to Canada. Hannah’s second great grand father Peter came to Canada with his family in 1793. Settled in Clinton Township, Lincoln, Ontario.
