Francis Clarke Gamble,  1848-1926

• Born in Toronto, Ontario.
• Studied engineering at Upper Canada College.
• His father Clarke Gamble died at 94 as the oldest lawyer in Toronto.
• Railway engineering experience in east and became the president for the B.C. Department of Railways.
• Became Chief Public Works engineer for BC gov’t.
• Loyalist Ancestor: Dr. Joseph Bostwick Clarke, 1732-1811, NB .
