- In the 1901 Census, 65 years, married, two grand children living with them in Victoria.
- Both he and his wife died in 1914 at the 1403 Ryan St. home of their daughter Mrs. J. Campbell.
- In obituary, noted he owned General Store and had lived in Victoria for 14 years.
