- Eleanor Gertrude Schreiber – mother of Florence and daughter of Sir Collingwood George Schreiber – full-time sectional engineer for the Intercolonial Railway on 1 Oct. 1868, by which time it had become a federal project.
- Loyalist Ancestor: Dr Donald MacLean, 1760-1813, killed in explosion at Fort York in War of 1812.
