• Father was superintendent of the  Victoria Dominion meteorological station.
• Had many guests stay at her 1736 Lee Street Jubilee neighborhood  home.
• Died at Ganges, buried at Ross Bay.
• Loyalist Ancestor: Nathan III Pettit, 1724-1803, Judge / Assembly Member  in N.J., settled in Ancaster, Ont.
