  • In 1878, was employed as a landing waiter with the Federal   Government which means overseeing the landing of goods. 
  • In the 1881 census, married, 52 years, five children, living in Victoria,  occupation was Landing Worker which was a customs officer present at the landing of goods from ships.
  • Loyalist Ancestor: Roland Bunting, 1734-1839.
  • No marker on his grave at Section H – 64 W 21.
