  • In the 1901 Census, 24 years old, single, living with parents. 
  • Daughter of the Victoria Colonist editor Charles Lugrin.
  • Ann wrote Pioneer Women of Vancouver Island, 1843-1866 and wrote for McLean’s, etc.
  • Sister Ida Winnifred Fahey was famous soprano known as “The Songbird of B.C”. Once performed at Victoria UELAC branch meeting.
  • Loyalist Ancestor: Peter Lugrin, 1755-1840, Settled in St. John, N.B.
