- President of United Empire Loyalists’ Association of Canada – Hamilton Branch, (1962- 64).
- Dominion President, 1962–1964, Toronto Branch. Born in Walpole Township on January 16, 1889, Honsberger entered Osgoode Hall Law School in 1913 and was called to the Bar in 1918, articling with the Toronto firm of Raymond, Ross and Ardagh. He rose to become a name partner in the firm, which eventually became Raymond and Honsberger, and was appointed King’s Counsel in 1937. His two sons, John D. and Hugh Honsberger, both joined the firm in 1950. Beyond law, he served as Reeve for North York and was a founder of the Metropolitan Toronto Conservation Authority. As Dominion President he presided over the formal presentation of the charter to the newly formed Sir Guy Carleton Branch in Ottawa on June 20, 1962. He died in Toronto on July 3, 1979.
- ” Mr. H. Stanley Honsberger, Q.C., a long time stalwart officer of the Toronto Branch passed away last year. He served as Branch President during the 1940s and 1950s.
- It was mainly the effort of Mr. H.S. Honsberger along with assistance from Dr. H.G. Walton – Ball of the Governor Simcoe Branch that regenerated the Dominion Council following World War II. He served as Dominion President in 1954-56 and 1962-64.”
