Lived in [(1) Ernesttown twp., (2) South Fredericksburg twp. (3) Cobourg]. Sgt., later [rank], Regt., Addington Militia, 1812-14; lt. col., 1st Regt., Northumberland Militia, 21 Apr. 1838; on duty 1838. JP, Midland Dist., 3 Aug. 1821: Newcastle Dist., 9 Jan. 1835. MHA, Lennox and Addington, 1824.
