Gerow, Sarah Esther (Adams)

1857-1936
Sarah was known throughout Victoria for her extensive philanthropic work.
Her family left Ontario when she was 6 years old, and she was raised in California. On a visit to Victoria, she decided to stay, and then married Frank Woodman Adams who is also descended from Loyalists.
Both are buried at Ross Bay Cemetery.
