Born in Saint John, Saint John County, New Brunswick. Lived in New York as the chief auditor for the London-Lancashire Insurance Company.
Semi retired to Saskatchewan in 1923.
Moved to Vancouver in 1943 and then moved to Nanaimo in 1947.
Buried in Nanaimo Municipal Cemetery, British Columbia.
