- Granted 50 Acres on McNutt’s Island in Port Roseway Harbour in 1785. Received a land grant for 200 acres on Pell’s Road, Shelburne County, N.S. in 1786 (Source #1). Arrived in Prince Edward Island in 1785, initially a warrant of survey for 100 acres at Lot 65 and petitioned for a town and pasture lot in Charlottetown in 1787. (Source #4) Granted 400 acres at Elliott River (Rocky Point, lot 65), Queens County, Prince Edward Island. (Source #2)
- Deputy Surveyor General of Prince Edward Island, after a petition request to the PEI Legislative Council, he laid out the Murray Harbour Road connecting Murray Harbour to the Georgetown Road at Vernon River (25 miles) allowing road access to Charlottetown from southern Kings County and opening the interior to settlement along the Murray Harbour Road.
