    • Ephraim Curry was born in County Antrim, Ireland. His gravestone reads, “ca. 1750/1756 – 1806”; Find-A-Grave uses 1750 as year of birth.
    • Came to NY Colony from Ireland as a child with his brothers and mother. Fought for the King’s army in the Revolutionary War. Granted a 200 acre land in Upper Canada for his loyalty. Died in 1806 in Edwardsburg Township.
    • Emigration: From Ireland to Cooksburg, Albany Co, NY.333
    • Grant of Land: 1785, Lot 21, Concession II, Edwardsburg Twp
    • Military service: British navy while in Ireland, Cpt. William Fraser’e 6th Company, Jessep’s Rangers in American revolution, Grenville Military.
    • He married Elsea Bolton on March 20, 1787, daughter of George Bolton and Nancy Bickford….Elsea “Alice” Eleanor Boulton (1764-1862)
    • In Jessop affadavit for revolutionary war losses, claim was for £125 17s. 6d. Seargent with Jessop’s Loyal Rangers.
