• Lived in Cobalt, Ontario when joined army for WW I. Spent time in Siberia during conflict.
• After war, lived in Iroquois Falls, Ont. for 27 years. At one point was a tobacconist. Had been in Vernon, B.C. for 5 years and then Nanaimo for one year prior to passing.
• Occupation was Wholesale, General Merchandise.
• Buried in Nanaimo Municipal Cemetery, British Columbia. 
• Loyalist Ancestor: , Jeremiah Brownell, 1739- 1845, Moncton, Westmorland County, New Brunswick.
