Charles Howard Barker, 1864-1955
- Born in Sheffield, Sunbury County, New Brunswick.
- Graduated from University of New Brunswick and finished law training in Victoria.
- In 1892, went to Nananimo to open a law office for a Victoria law firm and then bought firm himself in 1893.
- Was married to Suzanne Russell in Victoria in 1894.
- Appointed to the Couty Court bench in 1909 and retired in 1939.
- Howard was a County Court Judge (retired).
- Buried in Nanaimo Municipal Cemetery, Nanaimo, British Columbia.
- Loyalist Ancestor: Thomas Turney, 1754-1840, Burton, Sunbury, New Brunswick.
