Carl Madill Mowat

Carl Mowat, 1903 – 1983

• Born in Vancouver, B.C.
• Spent most of his working life in the logging industry including several years at Camp # 3 at Cowichan Lake.
• He went to Chemainus in 1944 as a Skidder engineer for MacMillan Bloedel at Copper Canyon.
• Retired in 1969.
• Buried at Ladysmith Cemetery.
• Loyalist Ancestor: John Ross, 1761- 1826, Lancaster, Stormont, Ontario.
