In memory of Alexander Cameron a native of Glenmorrison, Inverness—shire,Scotland
died in Williamstown January 1825
aged 96 years,
and of Margaret McDonell his
wife also a native of Glenmorrison
who died January 1817 aged 87 years.
Mr. Cameron was one of the early settlers of the then Colony of New York, but true to the
principles of his education, preferred seeking a new homein Canada rather than to identify himself with the revolutionary movement against his flag.
