Amos Ansley (bapt. Jan 25, 1801 – 1837) — Church of England clergyman and missionary; educated at the University of Edinburgh, ordained 1824, served Hull and March Township, ministered across 14 townships on both sides of the Ottawa River, remembered for diligent missionary service on the frontier.
