John Macpherson Almond (Aug 1, 1871 – Sept 17, 1939) — Church of England clergyman, military chaplain, and pioneer of Canadian chaplaincy. Served in the South African War and WWI; reformed the Canadian Chaplain Service, promoted denominational equality, strengthened front-line ministry, and built lasting support systems for soldiers and veterans.
