William Bruce Almon (Oct 25, 1787 – July 12, 1840) — Halifax doctor, office holder, and politician from a prominent Loyalist family. Advocate for medical standards (Medical Act of 1828), member of Nova Scotia’s first licensing board, mentor to future medical leaders, and longtime supporter of Tory governance.
