Hicks, Edward Sr.

    • Edward Hicks Sr. joined Butler’s Rangers in 1777. While out scouting, he was captured by the Rebels along with his son, Edward Hicks Jr., and was sentenced to hang as a spy. He died sometime in 1779 in New York.
