George William Brownlee, 1889-1959
- Born in Rat Portage Kenora, Ontario.
- Veteran of WW I.
- Worked on CNR railroad for most of his life.
- Came to B.C. in 1922 and worked out of Kamloops.
- Transferred to Vancouver Island in 1934.
- Buried in Mt. View Cemetery, Duncan. Section NS Block 14 Plot 3
- Loyalist Ancestor: Cameron Donald Ross, 1740- 1777, Laprairie, Roussillon, Quebec. Claim was made by widow Christi Ross. Also, son Alexander nay be UEL. Proven by Victoria UE member.
