- Nathaniel was born in 1754 in Rhode Island. He was the son of Edward Corbin and Experience Colvin.
- Nathaniel Corbin was enumerated on April 5, 1796 in Augusta Township, Genville County, in Upper Canada. His household was comprised of one adult male, 1 adult female; 2 male children and 2 female children.
- Elizabeth Dodge was identified as the daughter of Nathaniel Corbin, and granted two hundred acres of land in the township of Ernestown, Ontario. Her sister, Polly Cross, daughter of Nathaniel Corbin, also received 200 acres in Johnston, Upper Canada in 1835. Nathaniel W. Corbin, son of Nathaniel Corbin of Augusta, , also received land, in 1835, as the son of a loyalist. (Nathaniel W. Corbin’s wife was identified as Mary in a subsequent document in 1848.)
- Nathaniel died sometime after 1837. In a land petition of that year, Elizabeth Corbin Dodge states that her parents, aged 83 and 81, were under the are of her sister, Polly Cross, in Ernestown, Upper Canada.
